Khajiit

The feline humanoid Khjaiit comes from the province of Elsweyr. Along with Argonians, they are the “beast-races” of Tamriel, having both a different skeletal structure and a different metabolism and digestion system as well. There are two different types of lifestyle in Elsweyr: the city-dwellers in the southern jungle parts of Elsweyr, who lives on old merchant traditions, trading saltrice and Moon Sugar, and the more tribal pride-focused Khajiits from the dry parts up north. (Khjaiits have a well-developed sweet tooth, and love Moon Sugar). Khajiits are naturally very swift and agile, and are thus often found as thieves and bandits. They are also quite strong and can become fierce warriors, but it will take a good amount of training for them to become apt at magic.

There are also several types of Khajiit, ranging from some types that looks so close to Bosmer that they tattoo their faces to show that they are truly Khajiit to quadrupedal Khajiits that looks like the common house cats. What type of Khajiit one becomes is determined by the moon phase on the time of their birth.
